Get WakeYa

The AI wake-up call

The alarm that calls you — and won’t hang up until you’re actually awake.

A ringtone is a sound you can silence in your sleep. WakeYa is a voice that talks to you, notices you’re still slurring, and keeps going until you’ve proven you’re up.

You don’t sleep through alarms. You defeat them.

Half-asleep, your brain is very good at one thing: making the noise stop. Snooze, dismiss, phone under the pillow — all of it happens before you’re awake enough to remember doing it. A sound has no way to fight back. A conversation does.

How WakeYa works

Three steps. The last one is the one that matters.

  1. Set your alarm

Pick the time, a personality and an intensity. Add a note — “I have an exam,” “don’t let me skip the gym” — and WakeYa will use it in the morning.

  2. It calls instead of ringing

At wake-up time a voice comes through, knows your name, your day, your calendar — and starts an actual conversation. Not a recording. It answers what you say.

  3. It hangs up only when you’re awake

No snooze button to slap. WakeYa keeps talking, asks you things, and only ends the call once you’ve genuinely responded — proof you’re up, not just muttering.

Four voices. Pick who gets to wake you.

These are real recordings from the app. Turn the volume up — that’s the whole pitch.

  • Drill Sergeant

    Boot camp at 6 a.m.

Volume, cadence, zero negotiation. Sleeping in is desertion.

  • Gentle Coach

    Warm and patient

Sunrise energy. Talks you upright instead of shouting you out of bed.

  • The Skeptic

    Unconvinced

Won’t take “I’m up” for an answer — he wants something that actually proves it.

  • The Commentator

    Every morning is a final.

Calls your wake-up like a live cup final — every twitch under the blanket gets a play-by-play.

Every personality runs at three intensities: Gentle, Standard, Relentless.

What else is in there

  • 16 languages

It wakes you in your language — English, German, Turkish, Spanish, French, Arabic, Hindi, Japanese and more.

  • It remembers your mornings

How long you usually take, what works on you, what doesn’t. That memory lives on your phone — not on our servers.

  • Knows what your day looks like

Connect your calendar and it will tell you what’s coming — the 9 a.m. is a much better argument than a beep.

  • Profiles for work, trips, weekends

Each one carries its own alarms, personality, intensity and volume. Switch context in one tap.

  • It always rings. Always.

No internet, expired token, our servers on fire — the classic alarm sound fires anyway. You will never oversleep because of our infrastructure.

  • No account. Ever.

No sign-up, no email, no password. Download it and set an alarm. That’s the whole onboarding.

A voice in your bedroom. Let’s talk about that.

An AI that talks to you first thing in the morning is an intimate thing. So we built the boring, restrictive version on purpose:

  • No account, no database

We don’t know who you are. There is nothing to leak, because there is nothing stored.

  • Nothing recorded

The morning conversation runs live through the AI provider and is gone. We keep no audio, no transcripts.

  • Memory stays on your phone

What WakeYa learns about your mornings never leaves the device. Delete the app and it’s gone.

  • No ad tracking, no analytics SDK

Not in the app, not on this website. This page sets no cookies — that’s why you never saw a consent banner.

Questions people actually ask

Does someone really phone me?

No — and that’s good news. WakeYa doesn’t place a phone call. It rings on your device like a call and an AI voice speaks through the app. No phone number, no call charges, no third party on the line.

How this compares to a wake-up call service

What happens to what I say in the morning?

It goes live to the AI provider so the voice can answer you, and then it’s gone. WakeYa stores no audio and no transcripts — we don’t even have a database to store them in.

What if I have no internet — do I oversleep?

No. This is the one rule we never bend: if anything at all fails — no signal, an expired token, our servers down — the classic alarm sound fires instead. The AI is the upgrade, not the alarm clock.

Can I just hang up on it?

You can decline the call, and then the classic alarm takes over — loud, and it does not stop. The point isn’t to trap you. It’s that dismissing WakeYa takes more consciousness than slapping a snooze button, and by then you’re usually already awake.

Do I need an account?

No. No sign-up, no email, no password. Install the app, set an alarm, done. Your subscription — if you buy one — is handled by Apple or Google, not by us.

Will it work for the Fajr prayer?

Yes — WakeYa has a dedicated Fajr mode. The alarm follows your local Fajr time, recalculated every day and fully offline, with an adjustable Suhoor offset. Pick your city from the built-in list or enter coordinates — your location never leaves the phone, and no GPS permission is asked. Fajr always defaults to gentle, never mocks, and never recites religious texts with an AI voice. You also get silent reminders for all five daily prayers.

What does it cost after the free week?

Nothing, unless you want the live AI. The app stays a full alarm clock with pre-recorded WakeYa voices for free, forever. Premium is $7.99 a month or $49.99 a year, with a 7-day free trial on the yearly plan.

Which phones does it run on?

iPhone and Android. WakeYa is out now — on the App Store and on Google Play.

Tomorrow morning, you win.

Seven days, the full app, no card and no account. If it doesn’t get you out of bed, nothing will.
